Dead Safe Vault
Free
Up to 100 photos and notes and 10 videos. Includes the second vault for forced unlocks and encrypted backups. We never charge for the features that keep you safe.
Pro yearly
A$30 cash or A$34.99 on Google Play.
Unlimited photos, videos, documents and notes, plus disguised app icons.
Pro lifetime
A$60 cash or A$69.99 on Google Play.
Everything in Pro, paid once.
Cash costs less because Google takes a fee on every Play sale. At these prices we receive about the same either way, so you are not paying extra for privacy.
Two ways to pay, and what each one reveals
Cash by post: nothing connects the payment to you
- Order on this website. You get an order code and a separate claim code. Keep the claim code private.
- Post the cash with the order code on a slip. No name or return address needed.
- When the envelope is opened, enter your claim code here and you get your licence as a QR code. Scan it with the vault's camera.
The vault app never contacts us, so we never learn which phone uses which licence. Google is not told about the payment. One honest caveat: our server issues the licence for a specific order, so in principle it could link the order to the licence. It never learns which phone uses it. We plan to remove even that link with blind signatures.
Google Play: convenient, but Google knows
Buying inside the app goes through Google Play. That links the purchase to your Google account. It never gives Google or us access to your files.
Installing from Google Play is recorded against your Google account whichever way you pay. A direct download from this website will be offered for people who need to avoid that too.
Dead Safe Messenger
Pricing will be announced before the messenger launches, and cash will be accepted there too.
We never accept card numbers ourselves.
